Lindos - Villa Orlandi

Villa Orlandi is located at the Eastern extreme of the village, on the lower slopes of the acropolis, above the beach. One of the best positioned villas, with beautiful views over the tops of olive groves and the bay of Lindos, out across to the famous tomb at the end of the peninsular and the mountains of Turkey beyond.

This is a traditional Lindian house of considerable architectural interest, with heavy stone walls, shady courtyards and fine, high-ceilinged rooms. The house is furnished with beautiful antiques throughout and is both comfortable and spacious.

Access is from the street through a large arched doorway. The outer door opens into the courtyard, with a fine koklaki floor and planted with mature trees and shrubs. Surrounded on three sides by the rooms of the house whilst on the fourth wall a narrow stone stairway leads up to extensive, sunny terraces, from which there are fine views.

All of the rooms of the house are accessed directly from the courtyard or the upper terrace.
