Villa Carla is located at the Eastern extreme of the village, on the lower slopes of the acropolis, above the beach. One of the best positioned villas, with beautiful views over the tops of olive groves and the bay of Lindos, out across to the famous tomb at the end of the peninsular and the mountains of Turkey beyond. The house is a good example of traditional Lindian architecture, with heavy stone walls, shady courtyards and fine, high-ceilinged rooms. Furnished with beautiful antiques throughout.

The house is accessed from the street through a large arched doorway. The outer door opens into the courtyard, with a fine koklaki floor and planted with mature trees and shrubs. Surrounded on three sides by the rooms of the house whilst on the fourth wall a narrow wooden stairway leads up to extensive, sunny terraces, from which there are fine views.

The house can also be entered via the side gate, which leads into a second courtyard.

All of the rooms of the house are accessed directly from the courtyards.
